This notice describes how the Valour Research website uses your information. Valour Europe AG operates the site. You can contact us at hello@valour.com. See Valour’s legal notice and privacy policy for company information and your rights.
Access to the reports
We ask for an email address to provide report access. It is recorded as an address you provided, rather than a verified identity. An essential, first-party access cookie remembers your access for 30 days. We do not subscribe you to marketing emails. The report opens in your browser, where you can also download the PDF. We do not email you a copy.
Optional reading analytics
If you opt in, we link reading activity on this site to the email address you provided. This includes reports opened, sections reached, estimated active reading time, return visits, PDF download requests and clicks on Valour product links. We also record a campaign code, referring website domain, broad browser and device category, and approximate country where available.
A separate first-party analytics cookie lasts for up to 180 days. We only measure activity after consent. You can decline without losing access, or withdraw using “Reading preferences” in the footer. Withdrawal stops future measurement; you can also request deletion of earlier records. Cookies do not follow you around other websites. We do not use advertising pixels, session recordings, fingerprinting, precise location or keystroke recording.
Reading time is an estimate: measurement pauses when the page is hidden or unfocused, or after 60 seconds without interaction. A download request does not tell us whether someone read the PDF. Cookie deletion and different devices also limit recognition.
Storage and access
The site uses Vercel for hosting and Supabase for its database and administrator authentication. The reports database is hosted in Frankfurt. Authorised Valour and Reflexivity administrators can review consented readership data. Service providers may process technical information outside the European Economic Area under their applicable data-protection arrangements. Email delivery for administrator sign-in is separate from reader tracking.
Detailed activity and consent receipts are retained for up to 180 days. Inactive reader profiles are removed after 180 days. Temporary abuse-prevention records use keyed hashes and expire after one day. We do not store raw IP addresses in the readership database. Hosting providers may maintain their own operational security logs. Backup copies expire under the provider’s backup schedule.
Your choices and rights
Analytics relies on your consent. Report-access information is used to provide the service you request, and limited security records protect that service. To request access, correction, deletion or an export, contact hello@valour.com. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing personal information. You can also complain to your data-protection authority.
